COBM members are invited to visit our Facebook page to share their birdlife discoveries, post their bird photos, ask questions and stay informed about the activities of their Club and about what is happening in general on the planet Ornitho. Photos, observations, information and findings related to the birds of the region, whether recreational or educational, are welcome. Participants are asked to identify the bird when possible and to specify the date and place of observation.
This page is open to the public. Whether or not you are a member of COBM, everyone can participate as long as you contribute to the knowledge of Brome-Missisquoi’s avian fauna or share information of general interest to the people of the region. Our Facebook Page is also intended to invite non-members to join our Club. Messages that lack courtesy or relevance are filtered out.
Concours photos
Our Photo contest is open to all members of the Club des ornithologues de Brome-Missisquoi.
The contest is meant to be an amateur competition where all the photos that inform, entertain, move or delight us will be taken into account.
The Selection Committee will be made up of two members of the Board and another member of COBM.
The contest opens on May 1, 2021 and closes on September 30, 2021 but photos from all seasons taken between October 1, 2018 and September 30, 2021 are eligible.
The terms and conditions of the contest and the selection criteria will be announced in spring of 2021 in your next issue of L’Info-Oiseaux.
